I've been visiting here since the mid 70's and I've always had great lobsters. You get to choose the size of your lobster and your sides if you want them. The prices are competitive and there is plenty of seating inside and out in their heated tent. We sat in the heated tent on a day that was a little chilly (low 50's) and we were very comfortable.
The lobsters were delicious and the service was fast and efficient. Looking forward to another visit or 2 this week.
Thank you! -

Came here multiple times. First time I had my first Maine lobster. It was cheap and delicious. After going to a couple of places was surprised they charged two bucks for butter.
Came here and got a lobster and a lobster roll. Was the first time I've ever intentionally got soft shell lobster. Honestly, not savvy enough to tell the difference between soft and hard shell. You could just crack and rip the shells with your bare hands. Everything about the lobster was just delicious, my only negative feedback was I think the lobster was a little more tough than what my preference would be, still delicious though.
Also got the lobster roll and it was more expensive and less delicious. The bread wasn't that special, it's like they know what should go into the bun, toasted and a butter, but the execution was lacking. And then for the lobster itself, no butter or mayo or anything on it. Get less lobster and pay more for a roll? Na just give me the whole lobster.
The second time we came was to get some lobsters to go to bring on our flight. We went to another vendor and were advised against it, but it was easy and encouraged here. 8 bucks a pound! And then we got some really fresh clams as well. Ended up getting 2 pounds of clams and 4 lobsters and was around 70 bucks. -

If you are looking for lobster--this is the place to head to. Fresh, easy, delicious. Eat outside on casual picnic tables. It's all good.

New 2019 review...from a "self-professed foodie" and repeat customer.
Every time I come here it is amazingly good. No BS. Consistent and the freshest. Steamers-freshest anywhere! Large, plump and perfectly cooked! Lobster-so fresh, tasty and again Perfectly Cooked. The blueberry pie is THE best. Especially a la mode. Don't hesitate to come here! For a purist of lobster pounds? They are THE best! Tired of mushy lobster rolls with too much extra whatever? You must try the lobster sandwich. Hands down the best thing on homemade bread and my go to for pick up for an al fresco lunch on top of Cadillac or on top of the hood. Wine, beer and stuff for kiddos. Great view! The Best of Maine. Enjoy! -

Is you are going here for a lobster roll - don't. This joint was hopping busy and had many good reviews. We were a party of 8 and had the opposite experience. I had a lobster roll warm with butter and clam chowder - the lobster roll was not worth having. A very small amount of meat and the bun was like a piece of toasted white bread. My clam chowder was watery and bland with a few chunks of potatoes and a few clams. Our friend had a 2 1/4 pound lobster - she found it a bit chewy. Of note nothing comes with the lobster - all sides are ala cart. The blueberry pie was OK, the potato salad nothing special. Of all the places we had lobster rolls in the area we ranked this the lowest. There was ample indoor seating. Parking was minimal- we parked across the street on the road.
